Looking at all the reviews I must have been unlucky somehow - every single one of my 16 plants were either totally pot bound or getting there. I did leave it a week before planting but this couldn’t have happened in that time- so disappointing!

Several of the plants supplied in the autumn failed, possibly because of the wet spring. But Beth Chatto replaced without question.

I ordered eleven 1L plants. All arrived within a week of ordering and in excellent condition.

Ordered 8 plants recently. Plants arrived quickly and were in excellent condition. Delivery (at around £10.00) is not cheap, but worth it for good plants that had not suffered in transit.

Ordered Three plants 2 Dierama and 1 epimedium and they are brilliant very strong and healthy

Received my order (792784) today. The plants inside exceeded expectations - they were all healthy and as described.
Special thanks for the excellent packing (by Liz) which saved the plants from damage by the morons at APC.
One pot had been emptied and scattered through the packing (APC handling) but the actual plants were undamaged.
Again, thanks for the quality of the plants and the superb packing.

Had a problem with one of the plants not quite matching the description. They answered my email promptly, and sent out a new one within a couple of days. Very pleased with the service.

My £106 order arrived and what a disappointment. The plants that were alive were small and in poor condition plus much evidence of pest damage. 3 plants were 2 cm high and dead, 3 pots were showing no visible sign of any plant at all. Admittedly only two days, but no constructive response save for my email with photos "has been passed to the nursery for review".

I have just received my plants just a day after ordering . Considering the distance involved I was delighted both with the speed and the care taken . Thank you on both counts . I see Liz packed for me , immaculate work .

One plant dead on arrival but as others were ok I didn’t complain. Despite very careful watering, now only one out of five surviving. Unfortunate weather but not impressed with quality and size of plants provided for the cost UPDATE- full refund or replacement offered which was very welcome. I may try another order in the Spring

Visited today 16/08/22 and after a 300 mile round trip what a disappointment 90% of the plants were dead or dying and they are changing full price for entry! Every other gardens are watering their plants daily it was like walking around a cut corn field. If your buying a Gunnera beware as most for sale are the banned version Gunnera Tinctoria not Manicata, the only true Manicatas we’re not for sale!!`
